I have the nail polish portion of the NYC Samba Collection to show you tonight!  I will have the cosmetic portion to show you in a couple days.  This is a Limited Edition Summer collection that is available in most drug stores, I know I’ve spotted it in Rite Aid several times!

Jacaranda Flower

Jacaranda Flower is a gorgeous cool toned purple creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Palm On The Beach

Palm On The Beach is a muted kelly green creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Amazon Green

Amazon Green is my favorite of the collection.  This is a frosty mint creme.  Brush strokes are visible in this polish, so you do need to get past that, but the color itself is really nice.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Sweet Melon

Sweet Melon is an deeper peach toned creme with a lot of orange mixed in.  There is actually a subtle shimmer within this shade that was hard to capture.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Copabanana

Copabanana is a bright yellow creme with golden shimmer within it.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos, but 2 would have worked fine.  It was more of a carbon based unit issue that caused me to need 3 coats.

Tropicoral

Tropicoral is a gorgeous coral cream that leans more pink.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Carnival Red

Carnival Red is a bright tomato red creme.  If you love reds, this one is amazing.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

I don’t have a side view photo… because again… carbon based unit issue again.

Overview

This is a richly pigmented collection that gives you an amazing bang for your buck.  The price point is amazing, and the formulas are great.  Amazon Green is the only one that showed brush strokes, so if you hate seeing brush strokes on your manicures, I would avoid that one.

Where To Buy: Rite Aid, CVS, and other drug stores

For only $1.99 these shades are great, and I would even go as far to say that for the quality, I would be willing to pay up to 5 or 6 dollars for each shade.  There is one shade missing from the swatches and that is Ocean Blue, and I haven’t spotted it yet, but I will buy it when I do!

I really like NYC products but have never tried their polishes! These colors are so pretty and remind me of summer punch! I love your nails btw!

I love the colors of that polish! So pretty. That is always my issue, not knowing which colors work right with my skin tone.

Take me with you to find Ocean Blueee! xD Just kidding. I reallllly want Palm On The Beach, Jacaranda Flower, Sweet Melon and Ocean Blue....but no where, no stores around me got this collection, so sad! Loving your swatches so much though! :D

They all look gorgeous!! I love how inexpensive NYC's makeup is, yet they still have some really great products. I really love that sweet melon color!

Are you kidding me? Only $1.99? I love the Tropicoral. I love the way my hands look when I wear nail polish. I just need to be more consistent about painting them.
