I’m always on the look out for the Holy Grail shampoo for my thick hair.  I had the chance to review Nutra Lift Simply Superb Shampoo with Goat Milk and was very excited for the chance.

When I first started using Nutra Lift Simply Superb, I was pretty happy with it!  My hair felt silky, it smelled like sweet roses and it conditioned nicely.  Unfortunately I fell out of love with it about 2 weeks later.

About a week into using it, my head started feeling itchy, so I went back to my old shampoo and it cleared up.  Tried Nutra Lift again, and same thing… itch and flaky and it felt like I had build up on my scalp.  Now I know what you might be thinking… maybe you weren’t rinsing it all out?  Nope, that wasn’t it.  I made sure I was rinsing it out completely but over the course of a few days, I had a weird buildup on my scalp I’ve never experienced with a shampoo before.

Sadly that was the last I used Nutra Lift Simply Superb Shampoo.  It just wasn’t for me, and I was really bummed because I LOVED the scent and the feel on the first couple of days of use!  It was perfect… but I wear a lot of black tops and white flakes aren’t something I want showing.  I don’t know if it was body chemistry that didn’t agree or what, because I’ve read fabulous reviews on this shampoo.  It just simply isn’t for me.
