Happy Wednesday! Today we’re looking at the Night Owl Lacquer Halloween Playlist Remix Collection, as well as the 2025 Anniversary polish!
For 2025, Night Owl Lacquer is bringing back their Halloween Playlist Collection, which released in 2019. However, she wanted it to have a new formula – which is why it’s the Remix.

For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For all photos I did use a clear latex peel off base (purchased by me), Glisten & Glow Glitter Smoother (previous PR) and Vibrant Scents Top Coat (purchased by me)

Night Owl Lacquer | Closer to the Moon
Closer to the Moon is a deep dusty plum crelly base loaded with red to magenta shifting shimmer, tiny glass flakes and holo dust.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is the Anniversary shade.
Night Owl Lacquer | Monster Mash
Monster Mash is a black jelly base filled with 3 different iridescent micro flake shimmers, black flakes and a blend of purple, green and orange holo glitters.
I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Pumpkin Head Harvey
Pumpkin Head Harvey is an orange jelly filled with orange to gold to green iridescent micro flake shimmer, black flakes and a blend of orange holo glitters.
I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Flying Purple People Eater is a purple jelly filled with purple to blue iridescent micro flake shimmer, black flakes and a blend of purple holo glitters.
I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | This Is Halloween
This is Halloween is a clear based topper filled with 3 different iridescent micro flake shimmers, black flakes and a blend of various sizes and shapes of purple, green and orange glitters.
I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This also is a topper, but I preferred it on its own.

Thriller is a green jelly filled with iridescent green/gold micro flake shimmer, black flakes and a blend of green holo glitters.

I do enjoy when makers revisit older collections and change them to “update” them but keep the overall look. It’s fun to see how the maker changed with the updated versions vs originals.
