It’s now been 2 weeks since I started using Dove Dry Spray, so I came back to give a little update. If you missed the initial post, make sure to head back and check it out HERE.
For a quick recap: Dove has new dry spray antiperspirants that go on instantly dry for a cleaner feel with no visible residue. Plus, they offer 48-hour odor and wetness protection.
I started my #TryDry challenge on January 13th to see if these new dry sprays can hold up.
Here were the things I was testing for & my results:
1. Wetness Protection – Amazingly enough I stayed dry through the challenge, even with my work environment and a lot of lifting and movement. We had one day that the air unit stopped working and the offices became stuffy and hot without the air flow, and I still managed to be ok.
2. Odor Protection (I apologize to my coworkers ahead of time if this one doesn’t work out) – Lucky for everyone involved, no apologies were needed. The odor protection was outstanding and I didn’t even have a moment of “Is that me?” and trying to discreetly do a sniff test.
3. Visible Residue – Every day for the past 2 weeks I did my normal morning routine, but I sprayed on my Dove Dry Spray before getting dressed. Each day I had dark colored sweater tops to wear and there wasn’t a single mark on any of my tops.
On top of the three things listed above, what I really loved about my Dove Dry Spray was that it felt like I had nothing on. No greasy, wet or powdery residue could be felt and I loved that.
I went to my local CVS a few days ago to grab more (I’m not out of the first bottle, but I like to stock up) and their shelf was wiped out. The display was there, but completely empty. I ran to another one and they had 3 bottles left, so I snagged 2 of them.
My experience with Dove Dry Spray overall was fantastic. I was already a Dove user, so I don’t need to switch brands, but the dry spray is definitely a new favorite.
I know a few people commented that they aren’t a fan of spray ons because of the cold blast, and unfortunately that is still there. When I spray it on there is a quick, cold blast but then it goes away. Since it doesn’t leave a wetness behind the cold feeling is really quick. So if you can last those 5 seconds then you’ll be fine with these!
