New Target Find | Dove Dry Serum Antiperspirant & Deodorant

Anyone who’s been following my blog knows that I have been a fan of Dove Dry Spray antiperspirant for over 2 years now. I’ve been a fan of

After a laser hair removal appointment last month, I swung by Target on the way home. While I was grabbing some things I probably didn’t need (I’ve had an Oreo craving lately) I went through the personal hygiene aisle and spotted a cute little boxed Dove product that I hadn’t seen before. Dove Dry Serum Antiperspirant & Deodorant. There were 3 scents on the shelf, so I grabbed 1 of each and kept going.

The 3 scents that I grabbed were Rose Silk, Jasmine Touch and Powder Fresh. I’ve only opened and used Rose Silk so far though, so my first impressions of the new Dove Dry Serum Antiperspirant are based on that particular one.

Rose Silk is a vibrant, floral scent of rose, magnolia and peony. Perfect for Spring and Summer.

Over the last month I’ve been using Dove Dry Serum Antiperspirant exclusively. I started using it at the end of tax season when things were bananas at work and the stress level was high, I’ve been using it while running errands in the heat and while on the go with my son.

It has not disappointed me.

The Dove Dry Serum container itself is more compact than a typical Dove deodorant stick, and it’s much smaller than the Dove Dry Spray. This makes it a lot easier to pop into my purse or bag and carry it with me.

Like a normal Dove deodorant stick, you twist the bottom and the product dispenses through the top. The top has a smooth, slightly rounded look and the antiperspirant is dispensed through the very center. Because the top is wider, it allows the product to be applied and smoothed over your skin quite easily without too much being dispensed.

Once applied, Dove Dry Serum goes from a wet antiperspirant to a dry, almost powder like feel almost instantly. It was actually pretty incredible.

When it’s warmer out, and your underarms feel almost “sticky” from the heat? Not only did I stay dry in my underarm area, but I didn’t have that sticky feeling. My underarms were smooth, dry and literally smelled like roses (thanks to it being the Rose Silk scented Dove Dry Serum.)

Last year I went through 8 sessions of having laser hair removal done, and one of the areas I had done happened to be my underarms.
