Color4Nails has some new nail goodies in her shop and I’m here to share them with you! I have the new Color4Nails Hydrating Cuticles Away (cuticle remover) as well as 2 Rejuvenating Cuticle Oil.

I’ve been testing these for about a week and so far so good. My biggest concern was the Hydrating Cuticle Away, but it was easy to use.  I’ve worked really hard to keep my nails in good condition and practically stain free with minimal hangnails, so testing new things gets me nervous sometimes!

Rejuvenating Cuticle Oil

Starting off, we have the Rejuvenating Cuticle Oil.  I received this in 2 different scents – Pomegranate Mango and Jasmine Rosehip.  I found them to work pretty well and hydrate my nails and cuticles.  The applicator is a click pen with a brush tip to easily dispense and brush on, but I also find these more convenient for travel as well.

I found both fragrances I received to be strong enough to be able to pinpoint the scent on application, but light enough to be a pleasant fragrance and not overpowering.

My preference on scent was the Jasmine Rosehip scent, but Pomegranate Mango wasn’t far behind!

Rejuvenating Oil is available in 4 fragrances:  Coconut Kiwi, Pomegranate Mango, Lavender and Jasmine Rosehip. There is also an unscented version if that’s what you prefer.

Hydrating Cuticle Away

The Hydrating Cuticle Away was an incredibly gentle cuticle remover.  I’ve used this twice now and both times it worked effective and didn’t cause any irritation. I applied Hydrating Cuticle Away, waited 10 minutes and then gently pushed my cuticles back.

Like the cuticle oil, it comes in a 4.5 oz click pen style applicator with a brush tip. Easy to use and easy to travel with, you will need an orange stick or other cuticle pusher for it though as well.

After My Weekly Nail Routine

I’ll be using these more in the coming weeks for longer testing, but as of right now they worked really well and I would repurchase.

I LOVE brush pen applicators and I don't understand people who prefer rollerblading or polish bottle brush or squeeze bottle... so glad more makers are getting on board with the brush pen! Btw your hard work shows. Your nails are so lovely.

I need to know how I can make my nails grow without breaking. They break constantly and are always really short. I would like them to go a bit so I can polish them.

Hi Gina! Have you tried any treatments such as OPI Nail Envy for them? I've also heard Biotin helps a ton as well! A slightly more pricey system I've heard great things about is the IBX System!

I've been struggling since I changed my diet. I need to get my vitamins straight and I think I will be back in business but I looove my cuticle oils. There's nothing better than slick cuties after a mani!

I go through so much cuticle oil it's not even funny! I always have a stash of balms and oils to avoid hangnails and dryness from all the crap I put my nails through!

Nice review Lisa! I received these as well but unfortunately the Jasmin Rosehip scent really isn't my favorite. Haven't tried the Cuticle Away yet but good to read it doesn't irritate!

I definitely want to give this a try, I get so many hang nails. What I use now really ends up irritating my skin.

I need to use gentle formulas because of how sensitive my skin is, which is why I stuck to Trind for 3 years, but it's getting harder to get - so I'm glad I may have an alternative now with a gentle formula.

Thanks for the review. I really like that the cuticle remover comes in a pen format. I am not a fan of oils though, they seem to do nothing for my nails, I prefer butters or creams to hydrate personally.

I've always assumed that cuticle removers are bad for sensitive skin especially after I had an allergic reaction to one used in a salon but after reading your post I'm willing to give it a go. By the way, I love the rainbow looking cuticle pusher you've got in the second last picture, did you also get it at Color4Nails?

I've never had a bad reaction to cuticle removers, and I use them on a fairly regular basis. But everyone is different and you might be allergic to something in them? I bought the cuticle pusher from KBShimmer! I love it and use it all the time!

If you notice the dart extends onto a shirt pocket, either start the dart below the pocket, or remove the pocket first.
