My Favorite Things January 2016 Box? But it’s March?

Yeah yeah – I know. Basically January was the launch month for My Favorite Things Box and The Nail Whisperer sent it to me with the February Box, but I was a little behind (and it was already sold out) so I waited until the March box was about to release to share it. This is to give a taste of the mixes this box will have. Tomorrow I will have the March 2016 Box up, so keep an eye out!

So the My Favorite Things January 2016 Box brought us 4 brands (as usual) which were Lacquester, Lilypad Lacquer, Ever After and Too Fancy Lacquer. I’m familiar with all the brands except Lacquester, and this was actually my first time trying the brand out.

Let’s take a closer look at the January Box, and while it’s no longer available – you might find some nail lovers looking to trade or sell some.

Ever After Warm Apple Strudels

Ever After Warm Apple Strudels is a fiery orange red base loaded with gold shimmery flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Too Fancy Lacquer Blue Satin Sashes

Too Fancy Lacquer Blue Satin Sashes is a medium sky blue linear holographic with silver flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lilypad Lacquer Raindrops On Roses

Lilypad Lacquer Raindrops on Roses is a medium cotton candy pink cream with a scattered holographic effect and silver holo microglitters added in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lacquester Icesicle

Lacquester Icesicle is a lavender scattered holographic with added silver holo microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ok, so that’s the My Favorite Things January 2016 Box. It was beautiful with some lighter shades that are actually perfect for Spring.

I also showed the February Box on my blog, which sold out in a couple hours. There was a mixup with one polish and both The Nail Whisperer and Frenzy Polish sent the bloggers a bottle of Cold Scales, Warm Heart – so I’m giving my extra bottle away here!
