I received a file from the Exclusive Line.  Visually, I adore this file!  It showed up in a black suede like protective cover.  The file portion itself has a clear frosted appearance and the handle is a red to orange gradient with clear and citrine  colored Swarovski Crystals.

  I own SEVERAL nail files in different forms.  I have the standard dollar file from Walgreens as well as crystal and glass files from various places.  For some reason most glass or crystal files I have tried never satisfied me, so I would go back to a cheapy file and then buff out the edges to get rid of small tears that would catch on clothes and such.   I don’t tend to cut my nails with clippers either.  I have very strong nails and besides the fact that when I would clip, I would shoot nail pieces across the room and they could take someones eye out, usually one small clip would cause the nail to split too low on the opposite side and I would end up having to clip or file them a lot shorter than I intended.

I received the Mont Bleu Glass File (which is so pretty!  I’m a sucker for gem studded items…) and used it the night I received it.  The quality was really good!  I was able to file my nails down with JUST the Mont Bleu file.  It didn’t feel like I was tearing or “hacking” away at my nail tips at all.  I was able to file down smoothly and easily.

Here are before and after.  Photos were taken about 2 hours apart on the same night.  I filed down using ONLY my Mont Bleu Glass File!

I honestly didn’t know what a “good glass file” was until I tried this one out.  I do own other crystal and glass files and assumed they were all just ‘meh’ and not for me.  This file made me change my mind.  I plan on snagging another in the same design but lavender.
