MidWest Lacquer and Top Shelf Lacquer have come together for a collaboration Holiday 2015 collection that will be releasing on Black Friday, and I have the swatches and review for you on the blog today.
This is a simple 4 piece collection that really packs a punch. There are 2 holographics, a winter glittery topper and a chrome flake polish within this collection, and all 4 are well done. Each maker contributed 2 polishes to the collection.

MidWest Lacquer Frostbite
MidWest Lacquer Frostbite is a light silvery blue linear holographic packed with sterling silver moicroflakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
MidWest Lacquer First Snow
MidWest Lacquer First Snow is a gorgeous topper that has matte white glitters in micro to medium dots, hexes and snowflakes as well as blue iridescent micro glitter and blue shimmer mixed in. I used 1 coat over Frostbite and a black creme. I layered over a black creme just to show the blue iridescent flakes better. They really shine over darker bases.
Top Shelf Lacquer Jingle Jangle Punch
Jingle Jangle Punch is a Christmas red jelly based linear holographic. In person it leans a little more into the berry red category, but for some reason my camera didn’t want to capture that. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Sugar Plum Spritzer
Sugar Plum Spritzer is a blurple jelly base packed with multi colored chrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
MidWest Lacquer & Top Shelf Lacquer Collaboration Holiday Collection Overview
This is a fun Holiday treat and all 4 shades are well done and nice for the holidays. All 4 shades applied well, but because the Top Shelf Lacquers are jelly bases, I needed to use 3 thin coats for full opacity, but you might be able to use 2 normal to thicker coats if you prefer.
