Happy Thursday… well kind of Friday. It’s late and I fell asleep after work so got to working on editing the YouTube video late and here we are. Later today Lumen Nails is releasing their Plush Cremes Collection and the first shade in their Superstition series… Friday the 13th!
Okay to start… the Plus Cremes are mainly cremes. 4 are darn near 1 coat wonder cremes but 2 are syrupy jellies. All beautifully done but I did want to make that distinction because I know some who don’t really wear jellies for one reason or another. These are beautifully pigmented jellies, but still jellies.

LUMEN Nails | Lush Grey
Lush Grey falls a little more in the greige category than grey. This is a khaki green leaning grey creme. I did use 2 coats for these photos, but this was close to a 1 coater if I did thicker coats.
LUMEN Nails | Ballerina
Ballerina is a pale baby pink creme. The formula on this is intentionally thicker, but it does make it appear to have self leveling issues on initial application, but they do level out on their own when ready for top coat.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Again, I use thinner coats which makes me require 2.
LUMEN Nails | Spontaneous
Spontaneous is a rose leaning almost milk chocolate like brown creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
LUMEN Nails | Essential
Essential is a neutral latte brown creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I can see myself wearing this one of the neutral cremes the most.
LUMEN Nails | Infinite
Infinite is a garnet red jelly. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a beautiful syrupy jelly and I love this formula. More jellies please LUMEN Nails!
LUMEN Nails | Opulence
Opulence is a deep navy blue jelly base. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is that perfect jelly base for shimmery toppers.
LUMEN Nails | Friday The 13th (Magnetic)
LUMEN Nails is kicking off a Superstition Series… and since Friday The 13th falls in January – it’s the best time to kick it off! There is expected to be 13 shades in the full series.
Friday The 13th is a black jelly base loaded with magnetic pigment that shifts red to copper to gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, and I only magnetized the center 2 nails so you can see it both ways.

I miss good cremes and jellies so I was super happy about a Plush Cremes set! I feel like these are really good Winter shades to start and I’m hoping to see more from LUMEN Nails as 2023 goes on. The formulas were excellent, and even Ballerina that seemed like it may give me trouble ended up leveling out and behaving just fine.
