Wow, my first post of 2016 is happening, and the first post is Lilypad Lacquer The Fall Collection which is available at Color4Nails!

2015 was truly a great year for me, and on December 31st Cosmetic Sanctuary turned 4! Hard to believe so much time has passed and I still love what I do. When I started into this venture (with a gentle, yet swift kick from my boyfriend) I thought I would post maybe twice a week and it would fizzle out after a year or so… but 4 years later – it’s still here, still growing, and I’ve learned a lot. Nick is also currently revamping the look of my blog – so can’t wait to reveal that!

Anyways, back to what you all are really here for – so I won’t keep babbling. Color4Nails sent over a nice assortment of goodies to share – including 3 Lilypad Lacquer collections. First up is The Fall Collection. This is a 6 piece collection full of holo, shimmer, flecks and all that goodness.

Coco Crunch

Coco Crunch is a rich, chocolate brown holographic with gold shimmer and bronze micro flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Crisp

Lilypad Lacquer The Fall Collection Crisp Swatch

Crisp is a grass green with gold shimmer, a sprinkling on holo shimmer and copper micro glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fall For You

Fall For You is a grayed out blue linear holographic with strong gold shimmer and micro flecks. I used 2 coats for these photos, and while at a distance the coverage looks great – I noticed in macros there are some thinner areas, so in the future I will do 3 coats.

Nice As Spice

Nice As Spice is one of my favorites from the collection. This is a light pinkish beige scattered holographic base with intense gold shimmer, copper micro glitter and gold micro flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rosebud

Rosebud is a dark rosy red linear holographic with micro flecks mixed in. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Wildfire

Wildfire is a vibrant red leaning orange linear holographic with orange micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lilypad Lacquer The Fall Collection Overview

This is a nicely done Fall collection with some of the essential colors. I love that each shade has more to it than just a holographic effect, and all have either micro glitter, added shimmer, micro flecks – or a combination of the 3 – in each shade to really add another dimension to the shade. My top picks are Coco Crunch, Nice As Spice, and Wildfire.
