Very excited about this giveaway!  A few weeks ago I received an email about a new Kickstarter campaign that went up and it was the Le Mini Macaron gel manicure kit.  I was excited for a couple reasons, the main one being it’s cute as can be and packaging can sell me on 80% of items out there.

So what did I do?  I contributed so I could get the purple Le Mini Macaron kit.

What exactly is this adorable device?  It’s a pocket sized, single finger LED lamp that has a USB so you can plug it into your computer or laptop.  This might not seem like much, but if you’re a gel girl, have you done your own gel nails while away from home?  I have a few LED lamps and none that I own are pocket sized or even travel friendly really.

This portable Le Mini Macaron kit comes with everything you need to prep and paint your nails, including a vibrant all-in-one gel polish (no base coat, top coat or cleansers required)

While I haven’t used mine (the Kickstarter campaign is still going!) it seems pretty easy to use.  Once the USB equipped lamp is plugged into a power source, cure a thin coat of the gel for just 30 seconds, then apply a thicker coat for full coverage and a brighter pop of color, and cure for another 30 seconds. Gel nails in 10 minutes flat.

Want a gel pedi?  You can flip the macaron lamp upside down to fit your toes!

The creators of Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit were gracious enough to offer a Pink Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit PLUS a set of 3 gel polishes to go along with it!

Because this is a Kickstarter campaign, it will take a little longer to receive the prize, but they are expected to ship in March (which is when I’ll receive mine as well!)

Absolutely would I use this...the only thing I worry about is removal and if and how much filing my nail surfaces would damage them?

I wish I could answer that for you, but it's difficult for me to since I haven't received mine yet. I have removed other brands of gel polish with success and little to no damage done.

I've never used gels but this looks a really simple system to use. I like that it's one polish, no messing with top and base etc.

So sad that the Pistachio color is limited edition! I would totally use something like this. I have several gel polishes and two LED lamps, but, like you said, they're not very portable.

I remember hearing about this Kickstarter - glad they got it off the ground. It's cute but I have a mini pod from Katie Cazorla that I prefer. I feel like I'd bump my finger too much in this one.

This is so cute! I love it! I would definitely use it. I also love the idea of a 3-in-1 gel polish...all those steps for regular gel manicures are so time consuming. This is a great idea!

This is definitely super cute! One thing I dislike about traveling is schlepping several bottles in my carry-on for doing my nails, taking up that valuable quart bag real estate, and this looks like it would really streamline and simplify the process.
