Lacquer Lust has put out some more amazing shades.  I’m still in awe over the last set of shades I received.  The 4 shades I’m about to show you contain a Limited Edition Unicorn shade plus 3 chrome flakie shades.

I had most swatches done but I took them when I was testing out my new lighting and lens, so lets just say things improved a little and I redid them all.  I’m still working on tweaking things, but I appreciate Lacquer Lusts patience since she was technically my guinea pig!

A Unicorn In Love

A Unicorn In Love is the newest unicorn shade from Lacquer Lust! This is a silver holographic micro glitter shade with pink and red scattered in.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This was released on January 31st and sold out – but don’t worry – she’s restocking on 2/28 and that will be the last chance for it!

Mind Over Matte’r

Mind Over Matte’r is a chrome flakie top coat in a matte base, so anything you put it over will be a gorgeous matte flakie!  I used this over Zoya Willa and I love it!  I will be using this bad boy a LOT.

Ultraviolet

Ultraviolet is a jelly purple base packed with chrome flakies.  I used 3 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.  I could have just done 2 coats, but I wanted more depth with the flakies, so I did 3.

Black Magic

Black Magic is a black jelly base with chrome flakies within it.  I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.  I had the hardest time capturing this shade!  I added some extra photos on this one trying to show it!  It is gorgeous in person and I have worn it several times since receiving it.

Overview

All 4 of these are lovely and will get more wear from me.  I love the idea of Mind Over Matte’r since I can use it over a wide range of colors.  I had no issues with application on these shades at all.

I do love me some flakies. Are the chrome flakie colors the same, with the difference being the color of the jelly base (and one being matte?)

For the most part they seem to be. The base colors make it hard to tell, but when I was looking they looked to be rainbow chrome flakes in each one.

So much pretty! I don't think that you can go wrong putting those flakes in things...you could put them in mud and it would make it look nice! LOL!

Just thought you might want to know - the flakies are actually 11.00 a bottle, not 9.00. Beautiful swatches as always !
