KBShimmer Spring 2014 Collection Swatches & Review

Every season KBShimmer releases an exciting new collection and it’s that time again!  Today I have the full KBShimmer 2014 Spring Collection to share with you.  This collection is made up of 16 gorgeous polishes, 8 are cremes and 8 are a mix of glitters and holographic shades.

I’m going to start this post off with the gorgeous cremes in the collection.  As much as I love glitters and holos, basic cremes are a HUGE staple for any polish enthusiast and KBShimmer’s cremes apply like butter!

For all the photos you are about to see I used KBShimmer Basic Training Base Coat and Clearly On Top Fast Dry Top Coat.

Life Rose On

Life Rose On in a medium magenta pink creme.  I used 2 coats and top coat for this photo.

A Touch of Glass

A Touch Of Glass is a light aqua mint creme.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Chick Me Out

Chick Me Out is a bright yellow creme.  I’m not a big fan of yellow, but this baby is perfection.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Honeydew List

Honeydew List is a dusty pastel green.  Perfect for Spring!  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Sky Jinks

Sky Jinks is a medium blue creme with a slight dusty look to it.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Pansy-monium

Pansy-Monium is a red toned purple creme.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

My Life’s Porpoise

My Life’s Porpoise is a medium gray creme.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Eclipse

Eclipse is the perfect true black creme.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Gorgeous start right?  All the cremes are just amazing!  Now lets move onto the glitters and holos!

Full Bloom Ahead

Full Bloom Ahead is a white crelly base with small, medium and large hex glitters in fuchsia, navy, teal, gold and orange.  I used 3 coats for this photo.

Belle of the Mall

Belle of the Mall is a coral-toned pink jelly loaded with holo silver hexes in various sizes.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Rush Flower Traffic

Rush Flower Traffic is a metallic glitter top coat with fuchsia, gold, green, sapphire and aqua glitters in hex and dot shapes.  I used 1 coat over Chick Me Out and I LOVE this pairing!  Rush Flower Traffic is a perfect glitter topping and pairs well with all 8 cremes KBShimmer is releasing this Spring.

Daisy About You

Daisy About You is a pale (but still kind of bright) green crelly with neon green hex glitters among purple and lavender hexes and lavender daisy glitters.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Laugh Myself Lily

Laugh Myself Lily is a muted jade crelly with holo hexes in gold, pink, silver, lavender and blue as well as pink and light aqua dots.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Make My Gray

Make My Gray is a pale gray with turquoise, gunmetal, pale aqua and coral glitters.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Quick and Flirty

Quick and Flirty is a strong violet linear holo.  I used 2 coats for these photos.  For color accuracy refer to the photos in normal lighting (one photo above this text, and 2 photos below).

Prism Break

Prism Break is a linear holo top coat.  I used 1 coat over Honeydew List.  It doesn’t gray out the color much at all and is a perfect way to spruce up any creme shade.

Overview

Once again KBShimmer did an amazing job!  From the gorgeous, rich colors to the cute “play on words” style naming.  I have several favorites within this collection and all are completely wearable for me.  I had no application issues to report.  KBShimmer Basic Training Base Coat and Clearly On Top Fast Dry Top Coat were used in each photo.

Price: $7.50 for Cremes and $8.75 for Holos and Glitters (base coat and top coat are $5.00 each)

Awesome that her holo is the same price are the others. It seems most people increase the price on those.
