I am so incredibly excited about today’s post! I am revealing my Fall 2017 collaboration shade I created with KBSHIMMER! Here is KBShimmer Lady and the Vamp!

This is actually my second shade that I’ve created with KBShimmer. Back in Winter of 2013, I had the opportunity to create a polish with her in her previous Blogger Collaboration collection. When I got asked to make another one almost 4 years later, I looked back at the previous post. Going over the 11 fabulous bloggers involved in the first KBShimmer Blogger Collaboration collection – only 2 of us are still active nail bloggers. So many amazing ladies have taken a step back from blogging and I so miss their nails gracing my feed.

Don’t worry though, the newest blogger collaboration shade is full of talented ladies who had incredible ideas and images for their shades! As their posts go live, I will update my post at the bottom with their links so you can feast your eyes on their polishes as well.

For my collaboration shade, I knew I wanted to go vampy for Fall. I also wanted a finish like the Mega Flame shades – and Christy & Company made it happen. I showed them several deep, vampy burgundy, plum and aubergine type images. I wanted vamp and I wanted sparkle. Lots of sparkle like the Mega Flame polishes bring.

Soon – Lady and the Vamp was born. Lady and the Tramp is in my top 3  favorite Disney movies, so I wanted to do a play on that name.

KBShimmer Lady and the Vamp

KBShimmer Lady and the Vamp is a plum color Mega Flame polish with hints of maroon and aubergine. The base color is a richly pigmented jelly base loaded with silver holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because of all the microglitters, you may need 2 coats of top coat for a completely smooth finish.

I am incredibly happy with my shade and I may be biased, but it applied beautifully and is everything I wanted it to be! The Mega Flame finish is one of my favorites – so I’m super stoked to have it added to the lineup!

Over the next few days you will see all the gorgeous shades made by the other bloggers tapped for the collaboration and I guarantee, you will not be disappointed! There is a nice range of shades for the Fall season, a nice mix of finishes, colors and creativity!

The Fall Collaboration shade will start to push out in posts in their entirety on September 21st, 2017. You will be able to get your hands on them in person at Polish Con Chicago on September 23rd, and it will be available online October 13th.
