Tonight I have the Jordana Cosmetics Modern Matte Lipsticks to show you. I love a good lipstick, but of all the finishes, mattes are generally my favorite for a few reasons but mainly because they usually last almost all day. Once I leave the house in the morning I really don’t like reapplying my lipstick throughout the day.

Let’s take a look at the colors in of the Jordana Cosmetics Modern Matte Lipsticks that released this year.

Most of my lipsticks had “sweat beads” because it’s been warmer here in California. Nothing is wrong with the lipsticks, this is typical.

Matte Bare

I saved my favorite for last! Matte It Girl is a fuchsia.

Overview

If you love matte lipsticks, you need to check these out. They apply like typical matte shades and are on the dry side but after about 2 hours of wear it felt like I had nothing on, but every time I checked a mirror I still had a good amount on. Each shade lasted at least 8 hours on me. They all had different wear times, so I’ll post approximate wear times and shades below.

I picked up Dare, and love it. It lasts forever on me - my lips were stained to the next day! I need to get more of this line. It really is a bargain - a great lippie at a great price.
