Ready for another installment of Famous Couples In History? For a quick recap, Jindie Nails and Dollish Polish have teamed up to bring us an amazing series called “Famous Couples in History”. Every 4-6 weeks a new duo will be released which will represent a different Famous Couple In History.
Back in February I showed you their first duo, which was Romeo & Juliet. In April I showed you Bonnie & Clyde. Tonight I will be showing you Mr. President & Ms. Monroe!
Mr. President
Mr. President is Jindie Nails creation for this duo!
Mr. President is a vibrant cobalt blue crelly loaded with flakes of gold, turquoise and silver plus glitters in opaque matte medium and small lagoon hex, opaque matte small and medium dark lagoon blue hex, regal red metallic small hex , classic and light gold hex in medium and small, silver metallic hex in small and medium, small copper metallic hex and ocean blue small and medium metallic hex.
I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.
Ms. Monroe
Ms. Monroe is by Dollish Polish for the duo.
Ms. Monroe is a jam packed red glitter that is fully opaque in 2-3 coats. It has small and medium metallic red glitters, iridescent purple flecks and hot pink shimmer flecks all in a slightly red tinted jelly base. You can use this alone or you can layer it over other polishes as a glitter topper. I think it looks amazing on it’s own though!
I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Overview
This is the third couple in the “Famous Couples In History” duos and I think it’s another hit. Both shades were easy to work and I had no application issues with either one. Keep in mind though, they are both packed with glitters and shimmers, so they apply better in thinner coats.
