I am a lipstick junkie.  Unfortunately for my lips though, I usually gravitate towards matte formulas more than anything.  If you have matte lip colors, you know they tend to be drying and can wreak havoc on your lips.  Since I go day after day wearing matte shades, my lips don’t get a lot of breaks and by the weekend they look horrid.

When I received Inventia Natural Collagen Lip Gloss, I expected it to help the state of my lips.  I wanted softer, smoother lips even long after the product wore off.  A lot of items I have tried worked great while wearing it, but my lips went back to being a flaky mess right after.

I was fairly surprised at the results I received with Collagen Lip Gloss.  It is meant to restore skin’s protective barrier, protecting your lip from drying out. The collagen lip gloss heavily smooths and regenerates your lips.

First off… it feels great on the lips.  It feels like an extremely light, non sticky lip gloss and it has virtually no taste and a VERY light berry like scent.  Second, I put this one at night before bed and in the morning when I get up.  I don’t reapply during the day and can even wear it under my lipsticks without much trouble.  A little goes a long way so I don’t have to pack it on.  Just a nice thin layer does the trick.

After using though, they are a little nicer.  I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I am liking the results.

Overview

Overall, I will continue using until the tiny jar is gone and determine if the results are worth the price tag.  As of right now, I do find it works better than most chapsticks and lip moisturizers I have used.  A little goes a long way, so although the jar it comes in appears small, after only 2 weeks of use I still have more than half of it left.  It will last a bit before replenishing.

I had lip lines, that really showed when I wore lip stick. Now they are gone. I use the Somaluxe Lip Collagen Rescue and it is PERFECT for removing lip lines and using as a lip stick primer.
