Initial Lacquer Fall 2013 Collection Swatches and Review

Initial Lacquer is setting up to release a new collection!  I knew from looking at the bottles that I would be pleased with all of the glitter combos, but when I put them on I was blown away!

Let’s just dive right in!

Galaxy Dream

Galaxy Dream is my favorite from this collection!  It is absolutely STUNNING!  Galaxy Dream is a black jelly base with silver holographic hexes and shreds and micro glitter as well as sapphire blue iridescent hex glitters.  I used 3 layers for this photo and the depth is just perfect.

Mint Girl

Mint Girl is another favorite.  This is a medium mint creme base with silver and violet micro shimmer.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Autumn Tone

Autumn Tone is the only glitter top coat in the collection.  It has an interesting mix of yellow, lilac and orange medium matte hex glitters, dusty blue bar glitters, white matte hex, square and large circles, silver “mirror like” large circles, and lilac square glitter.  I used 1 coat of Autumn Tone over Mint Girl, so all the fine shimmer you see is from Mint Girl – Autumn Tone doesn’t have any micro glitter in it.

Violent Purple

Violent Purple is a very vibrant violet jelly base with medium and large white and silver circle glitter, small white and purple hex glitter and small iridescent blue green hex glitters.  I used 3 coats for this photo.

Dark Flame

Dark Flame is a deep purple creme with pink and silver holographic micro glitter within.  I was expecting some minor bumps from the glitters, but it all applied smooth to the touch!  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Hint Of Gold

Hint of Gold was so hard to truly capture!  This is a white crelly base with intense gold shimmer throughout the base (if you enlarge the photo, you can see it a bit better).  Within the base is silver holographic hexes and purple hexes in different sizes, as well as small blue glitter particles.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Last Summer

Last Summer is a off white crelly base with different sized neon matte glitters mixed in.  I liked that the glitters weren’t packed in so you got a good mix on the nail without looking too crazy (although I also love me some crazy).  I used 2 coats for this photo.
