It’s time to show the next The Holo Hookup Box. The Holo Hookup for July 2016 has a theme of Great Barrier Reef, and this months guest maker is Emily de Molly!

Quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!

This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for July 2016 the guest is Emily de Molly! 

Each of The Holo Hookup Boxes have a theme, and this months theme is ‘Great Barrier Reef‘ and below is the inspiration photo

Cupcake Polish – Queen Anthias

Queen Anthias is a vibrant purple linear holographic with a very slight metallic like finish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

DIFFERENT dimension – P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney

P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney is a cobalt blue linear holographic with gold holographic galaxy glitters mixed in. I Used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Glisten & Glow – Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals

Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals is a burnt orange linear holographic with gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly – Warm Seas Rising

Warm Seas Rising is a light teal green holographic with bronze to gold chrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Holo Hookup July 2016 Great Barrier Reef Overview

I was SO excited to see Emily de Molly in this box! I own a ton of her polishes and think she is a great addition to the line up. The colors are vibrant, and follow their inspiration pretty nicely. Application was flawless as well.

These are all so bright and pretty, but I think I like the Emily the best because it's a little different from the rest. Great swatches!

All together in a collage they make me want to go snorkeling again! I did it once, two years ago, it was magical... They did an awesome job on these shades.

I adore this theme! Fishes and reefs and swimming are my fav! These polishes are all really pretty, too. Perfect fit. :)

As an individual package I love each box that comes out. The whole collection though... If you're like me and buy it each month, go line up the colors by each maker. Are you disappointed that they're putting similar colors out all the time? I know I am. Especially Different Dimension and Glisten & Glow. Enough with the golds (DD) and reds (G&G) already! I wish they'd take this into consideration when they're putting together the next month.
