My hair drives me absolutely nuts! When I was younger (before I had my son) I had perfectly straight, thick, shiny hair. After I had my son my hair decided to go crazy and it’s curly in the back, wavy in the front, and still incredibly thick. For awhile I just didn’t want to deal with it and would throw it into a lazy bun and go. Then I went back into the workforce and the messy bun wasn’t going to cut it, so I tried to find a quick and easy way to make my hair more presentable.
I prefer my hair to be straight, so I did the flat iron thing for awhile, but I had so much hair that it took me nearly an hour to blow dry it, flat iron and sometimes kind of style it. As time went on, I streamlined my routine and now, my hair is done and ready to go in about 15 minutes.
Want to know my secret to getting smooth hair? Let me show you.
Step 1: Cleanse & Condition
First I cleanse and condition my hair with TRESemme Keratin Smooth Infusing Shampoo & Conditioner.
(sorry, next time I’ll put on makeup before my splotchy red faced photos surface… yikes!)
Step 2: Prep
Next I use 7 pumps of TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Activated Treatment and comb it through my hair. This Heat Activated Treatment, as part of the 7 Day Keratin Smooth System, works with the heat from your blow dryer to transform unruly hair into salon-smooth hair. You can easily create your style every day with less frizz and more manageability.
(I added face powder… you’re welcome)
Step 3: Blow Dry Hair
Next I blow dried my hair while brushing it with a large round thermal brush so I get straight hair with volume.
Step 4: Finish
To finish the look I spray a bit of TRESemme Keratin Smooth Frizz-Free Hold Hairspray around part in my hair to keep things calm, smooth and ready for work.
Quick, easy and manageable hair in a reasonable amount of time!
