Right now, the Color4Nails Holiday Box (which contains exclusive shades from Femme Fatale Cosmetics, Powder Perfect, Celestial Cosmetics, Emily de Molly & Lilypad Lacquer) is for sale, and while that is up, my code is inactive. Once the box sells out – my code will be usable again.

Let’s start with the October Color of The Month and then launch into the Midsummer Night’s Dream collection.

October CotM – Haunting Spectre

Haunting Spectre is described as a washed out grey-green base filled with copper holographic and iridescent glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Such a beautiful and sparkly shade!

Now we’ll jump into the Midsummer Night’s Dream collection. Get ready for some phenomenal shades!

But A Dream

But A Dream is a thermal, but with the weather I’m having here, I couldn’t take a photo quick enough to catch the shift. This thermal goes from a gorgeous icy teal with strong pink shimmer to a clear base with pink shimmer. Absolutely stunning. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jewels From The Deep

Jewels From The Deep is a bold teal-blue base with a complex mix of green shimmers, olive green chameleon flakes, and scattered holographic micro glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This polish has a slight texture to it because of all the glitter and flakes going on, but with top coat it smooths over.

Liquid Pearl

Liquid Pearl is a sheer nude base packed with blue to purple shifting shimmer and teal to pink chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Love’s Wound

Love’s Wound is probably my favorite of the collection. Love’s Wound is a bright fuchsia with purple tones and bold green shimmer throughout. Slight brush strokes are visible and the polish dries to a demi matte finish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Maiden’s Patience

Maiden’s Patience is a pale crelly lavender-grey with turquoise shimmer and silver holographic glitters in various sizes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Night and Silence

For me, this shade looks better layered over a darker base color – but for reviews I like to show them as is so people skimming through don’t assume that the layered polish look is what they are buying.

Night and Silence is a sheer red-plum base packed with shifting flakes and microglitters. Shifts from a green/teal through blue and to purple. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Spangled Starlight

Spangled Starlight is a pale pink holographic glitter topper with strong aqua shimmers. I used 2 coats alone for almost full coverage and actually loved it this way.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Midsummer Night’s Dream Collection & October CotM Overview

Femme Fatale Cosmetics is definitely a master of unique polish shades. My top picks from this blog post are definitely Love’s Wound, But A Dream and Maiden’s Patience – but all 8 were nicely done.
