My Favourite Things June 2016 Box theme is Inside Out! The polish makers this month will be Lacquester, Lilypad Lacquer, Eat Sleep Polish and Carpe Noctem Cosmetics.

Eat Sleep Polish – Anger

Eat Sleep Polish Anger is an orange leaning red that shifts to a bronzey blush with holo shimmer and gold flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Carpe Noctem Cosmetics – Fear

Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Fear is a burgundy based linear holo that shifts from burgundy, to violet to blue, with large flake holo pigment, and blue to aqua to violet flakies. i used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lacquester – Sadness & Joy

Lacquester Sadness & Joy is a stunning blue with a green shift and holographic sparkles and  green and silver flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I did experience mild staining with this shade, so please be sure to use a good base coat.

Lilypad Lacquer – Disgust

Lilypad Lacquer Disgust is a bright green linear holo with multichrome colorshift flakes and bronze shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My Favourite Things June 2016 Box Overview

Can I admit now that I actually have NOT seen Inside Out yet? It’s in our queue of things to watch, but it hasn’t happened yet! I have seen enough promos and such to know what each shade is and these do match up nicely. This is also my first time trying Carpe Noctem Cosmetics, so yay for that!

Overall, this is a cute box with a nice assortment of shifty shades. Application was nice on all 4, and as I stated above – the only thing to watch out for is possible staining with Lacquester. Use a good base coat and you should be fine.
