I have a few skincare reviews lined up to share with you, but I’m going to start with one that I absolutely fell in love with. FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask!

I have been into masks since my mid 20’s. Before that? I thought they were a waste of time, but I thought wrong. For the longest time I did a cleanser, maybe an exfoliator and moisturizer if I remembered. Now I have a whole arsenal of skin care goods and this is one of my staples. I tested this for a month and a half and even bought a second jar when the one I was sent ran low.

My biggest problem with finding the right skin care is that I have combination skin. If I find one that combats the dry patches, I get too oily. If I find one that combats the oil, my face dries up and flakes. Some things I tried didn’t help either issue AND broke me out. Not fun.

Okay so it’s not the prettiest looking mask. I’ll admit to that. BUT it works. The FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask is rich in vital nutrients and is a calming peat vegetative mask. Panthenol pulls in and locks in hydration and Allantoin cools skin and has fatty acids from safflower oil to help protect skin’s barrier function making it gentle enough to use daily. I used it every 2 days or so, which was perfect for my skin.

My skin got the boost of moisture it needs, but also has ingredients that help balance the oils, so it’s perfect for combination skin.

After a week of using every other day, there was a visible difference in my skins texture. It also has a nice cooling effect which was amazing in the hotter months. It felt so nice and relaxing, plus my skin loved it. No break outs, no dry patches and no oil slick. Complete winner for me.
