September 2020 | Grey’s Anatomy

Nick has been working all day… and he’s still going – so I’m gonna squeeze one more post in tonight. Before I head off, we’re going to take a look at the Fandom Flakies Box September 2020 with a theme of Grey’s Anatomy!

I actually binged Grey’s Anatomy earlier this year, I think I started it in January and watched all available on either Hulu or Netflix (I think Netflix) and I really enjoyed it up until around season 8 or 9. Truth be told – Meredith Grey was too whiney for my liking and they kept taking out the characters I did like. I still finished all the seasons available – but the last few bored my to tears. I did enjoy the first several seasons though. I absolutely love medical dramas – and I’m surprised it had taken me so long to start this one.

So the theme is Grey’s Anatomy and Missi from Different Dimension joins Night Owl Lacquer and Bee’s Knees Lacquer, and of course Ribbits Stickits for some of their fun decals.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Screw Beautiful, I’m Brilliant

Screw Beautiful, I’m Brilliant is a bright, warm cherry red jelly base with pink to gold to green iridescent flakes, and purple to red iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you have a very opaque free edge, it’s possible you’ll still see it through this at the end. I don’t have a very opaque on and mine were slightly visible (more so under the lighting I used for photos)

Night Owl Lacquer | Dance It Out

Dance It out is a smokey plummy lavender crelly loaded with purple to burgundy to red to gold multichrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Probably one of my favorite things in the show – Cristina and Meredith ‘dancing it out’ – especially their final time.

Different Dimension | You’re My Person

You’re My Person is a sapphire blue jelly base that borders on a crelly, with gold to green to pink iridescent color shifting flakes, silver flakes and holographic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

In the early seasons – the friendship between Meredith and Cristina was one of my favorite things. I think when Cristina left is when I felt like Meredith just didn’t stand alone well and it felt like she didn’t have the balance anymore.

Ribbits Stickits | Water Slide & Vinyl Decals

Ribbits Stickits has 3 Vinyls and 1 sheet of Waterslides for us this month.

The Water Slide Decals are 1 sheet and it’s a variety of Grey’s Anatomy wording vs images (it would be hard to do images) and I like all the different phrases that are selected here.

Fandom Flakies Box September 2020 | Grey’s Anatomy

The last few boxes were fandoms I wasn’t totally familiar with, so when I saw Grey’s Anatomy was on the docket this month – I got a little excited. I was like “I KNOW THIS ONE!”

Initially I was cropping photos and had Youtube on and was just autoplaying whatever was next, and it went into those MsMojo top lists, and one of the lists was I think saddest moments in tv shows (something like that) and one showed Cristina freaking out and trying to get out of her wedding dress cause she couldn’t breathe. After I saw that, I decided to start watching Grey’s and I was really hooked for the first 2 seasons, then kinda hooked for the next few, then it tapered off. But I’m one of those people that once I start a series – no matter how much I dislike it after awhile – I WILL finish it. I have to. I can’t not finished.

So yeah – that’s how I watched Grey’s. And I was getting irritated they kept killing off people I liked in it.
