Spring 2016 Collection

Today I have the Fair Maiden Polish Spring 2016 Collection Pack Your Bags: Travel Adventure to share with you! This is a 16 piece collection that consists of 8 cremes and 8 coordinating effects shades.

The nice thing about this Spring collection is that it has a fantastic variety to choose from. Grab em all, or just grab the finishes you like. All are incredibly lovely though!

This is a fairly picture heavy post – so we’re going to jump right in!

Rio Carnival

Rio Carnival Creme

Rio Carnival Creme is a dusty coral creme. My camera wasn’t showing the dustiness properly and pulled a stronger orange tone. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rio Carnival Effect

Rio Carnival Effect is a linear holographic dusty coral with what seems to be a subtle pink shimmer and gold micro flakes mixed in. This shade has a beautiful glow to it when on. Really gorgeous. Again, my photo pulled more orange for these. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fair Maiden Polish Spring 2016 Collection Overview

I really love how Fair Maiden Polish is doing their Spring 2016 collection. If you are on more of a creme kick – you can snag up to 8 new cremes that are lighter, slightly dusty and perfect for Spring. If you are still craving holos or crellies – you can grab those as well. One thing I am looking forward to when tax season is over (so I have more time) is doing monotone nail art with the pairs.

I had no application issues with any of the shades. For the most part I was able to do 2 coats for all of these shades, except Bisous Effect, Fiesta…Siesta Creme, and Sakura Blossom Creme and Effect shades – those required 3 each.

My favorite pairings were: Rio Carnival, Good Eye Might, Pearl of Siberia and Moon Over Morocco.

Pricing is still being worked on, so as soon as I know the pricing for each shade and as a full collection, I’ll come back and update.

I love the way they split the colors into different finishes, there really is something for everyone! It reminds me of Zoya's summer and fall collections, with the creams and then some other finish. The nail art possibilities are intriguing too, beautiful swatches!
