I have the newest creations from Fair Maiden Polish to show you tonight. This is the Spring 2015 Garden Party collection!
Fair Maiden Polish first burst onto the indie scene in the Fall of last year, and I said on my first review of their creations that they were a brand to watch… and I still stand by that statement.
The Spring 2015 collection brings us 9 shades. 8 shades are officially part of the collection while one is a limited edition shade. We’ll kick this off with the limited edition shade and then move onto the remaining 8.
Also, it’s my busy season at work and I had some hand mishaps with my swatching hand. First, I smashed my pinky between my desk and the arm of my chair so there is a slight hickey looking mark there… then a couple days later a nail broke (thanks to a filing cabinet) so my nails are the shortest they’ve been in a long time. On one side, I don’t like my nails this short. On the other, I type quieter now. Not sure if it’s worth it for me though.
And onto the swatches…
Gilded Garden
Gilden Garden is the limited edition shade and only about 100 will be made. It comes with a signature gold arrow ring that can be worn, or kept on the bottle for decoration.
Gilded Garden is a metallic polish with rose gold flecks and a linear holo finish. Easily one of my favorites of the set, so good luck to the lucky 100 who snag a bottle!
Sweet Honeysuckle
Sweet Honeysuckle is a beautiful peach with gold shimmer and a little red and purple sparkle. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Stargazer
Stargazer medium pink-red offset with green flash and soft linear holo, inspired by the Stargazer Lily. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Evening Primrose
Evening Primrose is a pastel yellow creme with a subtle blue flash. I can’t usually pull off yellows, but this one is completely wearable for me. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Green Goddess
Green Goddess is a light green linear holo with a gold flash. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Mint Succulent
Mint Succulent is another favorite of the set. This is a slightly dusty seafoam green linear holographic with a violet flash. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Blue Moon Wisteria
You know those polishes that are so gorgeous but a complete PITA to photograph? This was one of those. As much as I love this color i could not get an accurate photo of it, and for that I apologize.
Blue Moon Wisteria is a medium blurple creme with a violet flash. My photos lean heavily into the blue, but it’s a little more violet in person with a slightly dusty quality about it. It’s absolutely beautiful, I just couldn’t capture it’s accurate color.
Amanda Loves Polish got a much more accurate shot of this gorgeous shade, so make sure to check out her review to see this more accurately.
I used 2 coats for these photos.
Neptune Rose
Neptune Rose is another favorite of the collection. This is a bright orchid cream with a flash of turquoise and violet shimmer. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Maiden’s Blush
Maiden’s Blush is a light pink toned purple linear holographic with sparks of violet throughout. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Overview
This is a beautiful set for Spring and I love the mix of holo, shimmer, sparkle and flash. I had no issues with the formulas on any of these shades.
Gilded Garden is the Limited Edition shade in the collection, so be sure to grab it quick if you want it.
