Press Sample of the Fair Maiden Polish
Electric Mayhem Collection
Fair Maiden Polish has 2 collections coming our way on Black Friday. I have both collections to share with you (and the Black Friday special shade) but we’ll kick this off with the Fair Maiden Polish Electric Mayhem Collection!
This is a 6 piece collection of bold cremes inspired by The Muppets! I was really excited when I heard about these, and if you loved the Rainbow Brights – then you’ll definitely fall in love with these bolder hues.
Let’s take a look – and I’ll have the second collection from Fair Maiden Polish on my blog either late tonight or early tomorrow.
Gonzo The Great
Gonzo The Great is a deep plum purple creme. This is the deepest of the 6 shades. It does have a very slight blurple quality, but it’s definitely purple. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
It’s Not Easy Being Green
It’s Not Easy Being Green is a bright green that borders chartreuse but with less yellow tones. Not quite lime either. It’s very nicely done and made my top pick of the collection. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Mah-na Mah-na
Mah-na Mah-na is a bright teal creme. It’s slightly deeper in person, for some reason my camera muted this one. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Party Animal
Party Animal is a bold, cool toned red creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Who, Moi?
Who, Moi? is a bold, bright pink creme. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Wocka Wocka Wocka
Finally we have Wocka Wocka Wocka, which is a bright yellow toned orange creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fair Maiden Polish Electric Mayhem Collection Overview
So there we have it, 6 bold and bright cremes inspired by The Muppets. I was really surprised when I was able to get full opacity in all 6 shades in just 2 coats. Some of them (like Wocka Wocka Wocka) made me think I would need at least 3 since some bright ones like that tend to either have a thinner formula, or apply chalky and patchy. These actually glided on with a perfect consistency and were really easy to work with.
These are also able to stamp and water marble, but I don’t have any proof of that to share with you. I did, but as I went to snap a photo I hit my hand on my desk and screwed it all up. I said a lot of expletives and removed it and then went to bed.
It was frustrating.
But they do stamp and marble.
