EZ Buys Direct iPhone 5 Case Review (plus a matching mani!)

I’ll let you in on a little secret about me.  I’m a little obsessed with cell phone cases and the ability to change them out daily (and I do just that).  When it’s time for me to upgrade cell phones, I pick phones based on whether they have a large range of cases I can easily buy.

My current phone is an iPhone 5 (due for an upgrade in 6 months!) and EZ Buys Direct sent me 2 cute phone cases to show you.  EZ Buys Direct doesn’t just carry cell phone cases though, they also carry accessories for cell phones, laptops, and tablets.

Lets take a look at one of the phone cases I received (I did receive 2, but I’m splitting the posts up!)

I like this case for 2 reasons. First off it’s a gradient case, and second it matches my blog design.  Yes I’m that kind of person.

The added water droplet effect on the case is really nice too, and while I like the look, it also adds a little bit of grip to the case.

This particular case fits my iPhone 5 like a glove.  It snapped on easily and removal was easy too.  There were no lifted areas, cracks or damaged areas at all and I personally think the case is cute.

I can’t do a gradient cell phone case review without doing a matching mani, right?

I didn’t do the water droplet detail, but I was able to match the gradient colors pretty closely and was real happy with how it turned out.

I used just 2 colors for this mani – Milani Color Statement nail lacquer in Spotlight White and Bombshell.  I top coated it with the new Milani Quick Dry Top Coat.  I was really thrilled the colors matched so closely to the case!

For the price of the cell phone cases, I will continue to purchase from EZ Buys Direct.  I received the cases quickly and they were great quality for really affordable prices, and they carry a large selection to choose from.  There are a few more gradient iPhone 5 cases I want to pick up, as well as shells like the Butterfly one!

I've never seen those cute Milani bottles - is that a new line? I have two cases for my iPhone4S - one that I got from Julep that says to Keep Calm and Paint Your Nails. haha. One that my brother had made for me with some pictures of my dogs that I use most of the time. I'm sentimental like that. My husband loves changing his case - he has a GameBoy one, a Flash superhero one, and a couple of character ones in Batman and Superman. Geek!

I'm not an iPhone case border at all. I hate changing my case but after dropping my phone screen down, I just switched to my Moiphe case, also 'coz I needed the extra charge during a business trip. But I adore how you matched your mani. It looks fabulous. I have yet to try one like that. How did you do it?? Love it to pieces

I love changing my phone covers as well but with my current phone (iPhone 5S) I actually haven't put one on yet. I just love the gold accents so I don't want to cover them up. But moving on, your mani is awesome!!
