There is a new nail care line out, and it’s Essie Treat Love & Color!

Essie brings a little TLC to it’s signature sheers! TLC is Essie’s first advanced 1-step nail care + color range with 60% less peeling and 30% less breakage in just one week to your nails. No base or top coat required.

Right now there are 3 sheers in the TLC line and each has a delicate shimmer.

TREAT: Restore dry, brittle nails to a healthy look in just 1 week

LOVE: Pamper your nails with a formula that locks in moisture and perfects

COLOUR: Enhance nails instantly with visually brightening pigments for a healthy glow

Essie Treat Me Bright

Essie Treat Me Bright is a sheer white with light blue and pink shimmers. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Essie Sheers To You

Sheers To You is a delicate blush pink sheer base with pink shimmers. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Essie Laven-dearly

Laven-dearly is a sheer, pale lavender with delicate purple shimmers. Probably my favorite of the 3. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Essie Treat Love & Color Overview

All 3 of these are incredibly sheer, as intended. This is a nail CARE line and not a nail polish line, so they are meant to be worn to help your nails and not so much for a pop of color. But I do love that they added a sprinkle of shimmer so they aren’t just sheer shades. They are more for neutralizing nail color while improving your nails health.

I personally don’t have peeling or brittle nails, so as far as those claims go, I honestly can not tell you one way or the other if they improved. I can say that I wore Laven-dearly on my right hand (non swatching hand) for a week and the nails did feel stronger and I went a solid 5 days before obvious wear or chipping.

Price: $10.00 Each

I’m a pink girl so I love the middle one. It’s something that I would definitely use while my nails grow back. Are they not going to sell this collection in stores?

I haven’t personally seen it yet in stores, but most likely you will be able to find it anywhere Essie is normally sold :)

I could benefit from trying Treat Me Right! I haven’t treated my nails in a while and if I don’t they peel! Great swatches!

I love sheer whites like that having either a little bit of shimmer or a hint of pink….or both.

I love how delicate these are. Are they meant for french manicure?

I’ve been using Essie Treat Love & Colour Sheers to You for a couple of years now. The sheer slightly shimmer is perfect for my lifestyle. I actually use 1 coat and 2nd coat TL&C clear gloss. As a treatment it’s great for building strong nails. I’m a true Essie lover!
