Fall For Japanese Collection
I have another new Fall 2016 collection to share with you today! I’m getting ready to go on vacation, but I really wanted to get this post up for you before I go! Here is the Essie Fall 2016 Fall For Japanese Collection Review & Giveaway!
Not only will I be showing you this 6 piece Fall collection, Essie is also offering 5 sets of the Essie Fall For Japanese collection to 5 of my readers! How awesome is that? All the giveaway details will be at the bottom of this post, after the swatches of this beautiful collection, of course!
Ok, so for Fall 2016 we are going to Tokyo, Japan! They have bottled the modern and traditional sides of a city bustling with fashion, cuisine and nightlife. This collection was inspired by one of Rebecca Minkoff’s trips to Japan.
Let’s jump right in so you can see these shades, and then see how you can enter to win your own set!
Essie Fall For Japanese – Go Go Geisha
Essie Go Go Geisha is a slightly dusty light pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Application was surprisingly easy for such a light shade (I usually need 3 coats for these)
Essie Fall For Japanese – Kimono-Over
Essie Kimono-Over is a deep cool toned plum creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Great application.
Essie Fall For Japanese – Maki Me Happy
Essie Maki Me Happy is a crimson berry crelly. I needed 3 coats for these photos, and there are still some areas that you can see through it.
Essie Fall For Japanese – Now And Zen
Essie Now and Zen is a medium grey creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Essie Fall For Japanese – Playing Koi
Essie Playing Koi is my favorite from the Fall For Japanese collection! Playing Koi is a medium rust orange crelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Essie Fall For Japanese – Udon Know Me
Essie Udon Know Me is a dusty stone blue. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Essie Fall 2016 Fall For Japanese Collection Review & Giveaway
I really liked the shades in this collection for a Fall 2016 collection. There are lighter sides as well as deeper shades. I only had slight issues with Maki Me Happy since after 3 coats some nail was still visible. Other than that, they applied nicely.
My Top Picks: Playing Koi, Udon Know Me & Go Go Geisha
Price: $8.50 Each
