When I was younger I always had these itty bitty, cutesy purses. Once I became a mom, that changed. Now I like the larger purses that can basically double as an overnight bag. I still buy smaller purses – but they usually get very little love out of me. And if you have little ones – you know you always find special little “prizes” at the bottom of your purse… my son apparently puts his Minecraft mini figures in mine…
That’s my current Fall purse, and those little figures happen to be the army living in it right now.
Aside from the little village – I have some essentials that are in my purse regardless of the season. My must haves that get replenished and put into each new purse I use. Let’s take a look!
Neutral Lip Color
I always try to keep a neutral lip color in my purse so that it pretty much goes with anything I might be wearing. I’m not a morning person, and some mornings I run out of the house forgetting my lip color. My newest one is Kiddo from Colourpop Cosmetics.
EOS Lip Sphere
I also like to keep an EOS Lip Sphere with me. I just picked up a new one – Vanilla Mint. My last one was running low and I either threw it out or my son stole it.. either one is possible.
Bobby Pins
I always keep hair pins in my purse! A lot of times my hair drives me crazy and I end up pulling it up before the day is over – these help keep the flyaways tamed.
Hand Lotion
You can usually find at least 3 different lotions in my purse at any given time. Most commonly the L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream. I buy a lot of their little gift sets and most have one, so I have several of these floating around.
Planner
I needed to get more organized so I have my Erin Condren planner. I’m still adjusting to using it – but I love it and so far it is keeping me on track.
Kotex Panty Liners
Kinda hard to see that there – isn’t it? As I’ve said many times – I have PCOS which makes it so I can go 3 years without a cycle, but when one hits it can be incredibly unpredictable and I don’t want to be caught unprepared. Every month I go through the PMS and other motions leading up to my cycle… but then nothing happens. Sometimes though – it does. Those are the days I wear one just in case – and it helps that the Kotex Lightdays liners are thin and almost feels like nothings there.
I usually have a couple of these tucked away in a zippered, hidden pouch in all of my bags.
Right now U by Kotex is offering everyone a $1 off any UbyK product coupon and an opportunity to win some fun monthly prizes. Visit bringcomfyback.com and upload your creative pic or gif showcasing your best uncomfy face to enter #BringComfyBack Contest.
What are some essentials you keep in your purse all year long? I’d love to hear about it!
