A England Excalibur Renaissance and Hurt No Living Thing Swatches & Review

by Lisa Heath

Disclaimer

Have you ever tried A England?  It’s an amazing brand that has some of the best formula for polishes out there.  Smooth and buttery and incredible colors.

Tonight I have 2 new shades that are joining the A England lineup to share with you.  Excalibur Renaissance and Hurt No Living Thing.

Excalibur Renaissance

Excalibur Renaissance

Excalibur Renassaince is a true silver metallic foil.  Like most true metallics, this one is susceptible to visible brush strokes and may accentuate any nail imperfections such as prominent nail ridges, indentations, etc.  I actually have a habit of buffing my nails to eliminate most of my ridges (I have thick nails, so even though I know it’s a no-no I still do it cause I prefer my nails that way) but brush strokes are still visible in my application.

This is a gorgeous metallic foil though and is pretty much a one coater, but I did use 2 for these photos and no top coat.

Hurt No Living Thing

Hurt No Living Thing

Hurt No Living Thing is a gorgeous shade, both on it’s own and layered over other colors.  Hurt No Living Thing is a sheer greyish lilac base with pink shimmer.  While I do love this polish on it’s own as shown above, it’s also gorgeous over other colors, both light and dark.  A little further down I will show it over black.

These photos show 3 coats of Hurt No Living Thing on it’s own with a top coat.

Hurt No Living Thing comes to life over darker colors especially.  It really brings out the fantastic shimmer within it and transforms any shade.

Overview

While Excalibur Renaissance needs a little extra care to apply, it is a nicely pigmented metallic foil.  I’m planning on using it for stamping soon to see how well it does.  Because it was one coat polish, I would think it’s stamping abilities would be amazing.  Hurt No Living Thing is absolutely gorgeous and definitely my favorite of the two polishes shown.

Price: $10.00

I had seen one swatch of Hurt No Living Thing, but I didn’t know where to get it! I love A-England – her polishes are what sucked me into nail polish. St. George is one of my all-time faves. I want HNLT!

Excalibur Renaisance does look a bit tricky to handle, and I always have trouble with metallic foils streaking and smudging on me.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to
make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about,
why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos
to your blog when you could be giving us something informative to
read?

Onne of the most important means to be equipped with the skills and knowledge about proper patient care is
by attending pediatric advanced life support or PALS classes to
be able to further improve one’s life-saving skills.
But there are also many programs available online for cheap or for free.

Our company prijdes it self in delivering
the very best quality on-line ACLS, PALS and BLS courses guaranteed by our fulfillment assurance.

You can begin the course immediately or return at a later
date to accomplish this program. Just because PALS courses can be taken by people who are not in to professional medicine or, health care,
it does not in any way mean that these courses are of any
less importance. The Self- paced courses for home use are the AHA CPR
and Infant Anytime Personal Learning Programs.
