Doctor Lacquer is back on the blog tonight with the Chromahedrom Collection! This is a collection is inspired by the more unknown semi-precious gems which I think is a nice idea. Each shade has a beautiful holo as well as flakes within it.

Let’s take a look at these beauties!

Almandine

Almandine is a wine red linear holo with maroon and taupe shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Apatite

Apatite is a cerulean blue holo with bright blue and gold shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat. I really love how the gold really stands out against the cerulean blue base.

Diopside

Diopside is a kelly green holo with strong green and gold shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I don’t know what happened to the macro for this one – I took it… apparently it’s gone now though. Sorry!

Iolite

Iolite is an indigo linear holo with sparkly dark blue shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rhodolite

Rhodolite is a magenta holo with red and gold shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Spessartine

Spessartine is a terracotta orange holo with sparkly peach shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Taaffeite

Taaffeite is a gorgeous purple linear holo with blurple shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tsavorite

I saved the best for last! Tsavorite is a dark emerald linear holo with sparkly dark violet shimmer and flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The shimmer in this emerald base is just so incredibly gorgeous!

I am in LOVE with this collection! The colors are so gorgeous and well pigmented and then the added shimmer, holo and flakes just give them some life. My favorites are Iolite, Taaffeite, Tsavorite and Apatite.

Oh, so pretty! Another gorgeous collection. I love just about all of them. I guess Alamandine and Rhodolite and Iopsolite (the green one) are my absolute faves

I love the name Doctor Lacquer. Rhodolite is a shade I'm missing in my collection so that's what I'd like but I'd love most of these.
