DIFFERENT dimension is working on trying to have new Shooting Star Series shades on a weekly basis (yay!) but that’s not to say that some weeks might be skipped (she’s human afterall) but for the second week in a row, I have another set of Shooting Star Series shades to show you! This week brings us 2 beautiful Fall-esque shades! Cygnus & Capricornus.
If you are new to the DIFFERENT dimension’s Shooting Star Series, these are limited edition shades that release on a set date (this set will release this Friday at 9PM EST!) and once they are sold out, they are gone. If you wish to see past Shooting Star Series shades, you can see my previous reviews. These are no longer available, but you might find someone willing to sell if they got one that didn’t work out for them.
Let’s take a look!
Cygnus
Cygnus was originally difficult for me to pinpoint a color for it. I had to consult Missi on this. In the bottle it looked more of a deep bronze, but on the nail you can see it’s a blackened olive green but does still have a flash of bronze (you can see it more where the light hits) and has an intense linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Capricornus
Capricornus is a blood red intense holo with red micro flecks mixed in! In some light it takes on a rusty reddish brown… almost like drying blood. Because the holo is so intense, it mutes the base color a bit and tones it down. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Both of these are beautiful (as usual) and I can’t pick a favorite. When Missi said she was feeling more vampy – she meant it!
