DIFFERENT dimension Cosmologically Speaking Part 3 Collection

Press Sample

Happy Friday! Tonight I have the DIFFERENT dimension Cosmologically Speaking Part 3 Collection to share with you, and it released tonight!

Before we get down to business I wanted to point something out that will be seen in my photos. When I first started swatching these, I noticed there were random bumps in the polish that weren’t normal for Missi’s collections, so I notified her – and sure enough, there was an issue with the holo flakes used in these polishes (basically a bad batch from the supplier). These shades were made with the same formula as the Valentine’s Day collection – and those didn’t have these bumps. She WILL be fixing it for the batch being sold though, so buyers should not have this issue. I felt really bad contacting her about it, but after working with her for several years, this is the first time I had an issue with any of her polishes and she was so incredibly receptive to my feedback and has amazing customer service, so she was quick to find a solution.

With that being said – I will go over each shade, but keep in mind, the bumps have already been explained, so I won’t be repeating it over and over for each polish.

Houston, We Have a Problem

Houston, We Have a Problem is a magenta to purple base with flashes of hot pink and a scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Eagle Has Landed

The Eagle Has Landed is my favorite in the collection – this is a dark purple with strong copper shimmer with added scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

SpaceX

SpaceX is a peach to pink jelly base with a strong pink flash and scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

International Space Station (ISS)

International Space Station (ISS) is a medium teal with a scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My photos are pulling more bluish – it’s more green in person.

Hubble

Hubble is a cobalt blue to light blue duochrome with a scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

DIFFERENT dimension Cosmologically Speaking Part 3 Collection Overview

Overall, the colors in this collection are phenomenal. I got full opacity in just 2 coats. As I mentioned earlier in the post, the issue with the bumps should be resolved with the batch DIFFERENT dimension will be putting out for customers. I’ll be honest, I really felt like a dick pointing the issue out – but Missi was so sweet about the whole thing that it helped ease my mind. I know she puts out quality products and she hadn’t made her large batch yet – so she had time to fix the formula issue with the bad batch of holo. Aside from that though – these are beautiful shades and nice additions to the Cosmologically Speaking line.

This collection released on the DIFFERENT dimension site tonight.

Price: $10.00 Each | $45.00 Full Collection

So weird about the formula but it's nice to hear of a company that appreciates feedback. These colors are super pretty and super vibrant.

Yeah, a bad batch of the holo went out and a few indies got them, but most were caught when bloggers got them. Since Missi had used it from this supplier before - she had no real reason to think anything was wrong with them :/ Luckily she cares about her product though!

I have a hard time picking a favorite, but I think it's Space X followed closely by The Eagle Has Landed. Lovely swatches.

These are all super stinking gorgeous!! I want them all! Glad to hear that the flakies were a bad batch and the polishes have been reformulated!

Yeah, I'm glad to hear she's fixing it! The colors themselves are absolutely beautiful!

I am so glad that you addressed the bumpies! I saw these on another blog and even commented that, as much as I LOVE the shades, I couldn't look past the "texture" and I had written this collection off. Knowing that that the issue is being addressed is so awesome because I seriously LOVE every one of these! Thanks for throwing yourself on the sword! :D

When I swatched the first polish, my heart sank a little knowing something was "off" but talking to Missi about it, I felt a lot better, The colors themselves are absolutely beautiful, so it was a shame those pesky flakes went and messed the look up. I'm probably going to purchase the redone collection
