I started incorporating DermaSOLVE Shampoo into my weekly hair routine and replaced my normal shampoo with it twice a week. While I don’t have severe dandruff or itching, there were times when I wear black shirts that I would notice some white flakes. I had tried drugstore dandruff shampoos but didn’t notice much of a difference, so when I had the opportunity to review DermaSOLVE I decided to give it a shot.
DermaSOLVE has a very light peppermint/menthol like scent and has a very slight tingle when applied.
I wasn’t sure if this would work on me because I actually have oily hair but it gets a little itchy mid day. I have been using this for several weeks now and have noticed a decrease in dandruff and itching. It does have enough conditioning in it that I don’t need to follow up with Argan Oil or another conditioner for added softness to my hair either, which is a plus. However, it does leave my hair flat but very very soft.
Overall, I find this to be a decent solution for an issue like mine. I have used it twice a week for about 4 weeks now with decent results. Because it’s only needed a couple times instead of full time, it actually lasts quite awhile. I will keep using it until the bottle is gone , but I’m not 100% sure yet if I will repurchase. I might just to keep the flakes at bay, because so far it works better than anything else I have tried.
Price: $19.95 for 8 oz bottle
