I recently had the opportunity through iFabbo to review the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster!
I have had a couple of experiences with Dermalogica in the past, all of which had been good, but none as good as the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster.
I have combination skin. So I get oily in some places and very dry and flakey in others. Choosing a moisturizer type product is always a pain because if I pick a good hydration one, it can make the oily areas worse, but if it doesn’t have enough moisture, the dry areas get even dryer throughout the day.
Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster is a rich serum that contains Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, and Glycolipids which help to improve skin hydration and minimize fine lines.
This is what the serum looks like, the amount shown is about the size of a dime, and it is plenty to cover my entire face and neck. This isn’t a product to replace your moisturizer. Skin Hydrating Booster is a product that is applied to your face and neck before moisturizer.
Overview
I have been using Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster for 3 weeks now, applying at night and in the morning, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. The “flakey” areas have been behaving, and I have been able to use a lighter moisturizer so my oily areas don’t get out of whack. I only need to apply a thin layer, which soaks in almost immediately without any type of residue left behind. It does have a faint lavender scent, which I like. It isn’t a strong scent, but I can detect the lavender.
Overall, Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster is a perfect addition to my skin care routine, especially now that the weather is warming up!
