Summer In Seattle Collection Part 1

Daily Hues Nail Lacquer has a 2 part collection coming. You’ll see Part 2 in a couple weeks, but tonight I have the Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Summer In Seattle Collection Part 1 to show you!

Part 1 of this collection is ‘Places To See’ and Daily Hues Lacquer is based in Washington, so it makes sense she wants us to see her interpretations in polish form.

Now I’ll be honest, I’ve never been to Washington, so obviously I’ve never been to Seattle. I’ve always wanted to go. Nick and I have a lot of plans to travel to different places neither of us have been, so maybe one day we’ll make it there.

Let’s take a look!

1962 Worlds Fair

1962 Worlds Fair is a pale silver linear holographic with pink shimmer throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

It’s A Siren, Not A Mermaid

It’s A Siren, Not A Mermaid references the Starbucks logo! This is a thermal polish, and it’s hot as all get out here and while it was shifting, it wasn’t staying in the “cold” state long enough to snap photos. This is mid shift though. It goes from a light green to a medium green. When super hot though, it changes to a MUCH lighter green shade.

I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

ABC Already Been Chewed

ABC Already Been Chewed is a neon and pastel mixed dot glitter topper.. I used 1 coat over It’s A Siren, Not A Mermaid. I did use the dabbing method for this one because the base was a little thicker. It wasn’t impossible to work with but I wanted more glitter per swipe, so I dabbed them on.

It’s Pike Not Pikes

It’s Pike Not Pikes is a gorgeous cherry red jelly base with silver holographic shred glitters mixed in.

I need more polishes with this type of jelly base!

This is 2 coats and a glossy top coat. I got REALLY good opacity even though it’s a jelly. And it’s squishy and juicy looking.

Zeniful

Zeniful is a bright lime green linear holographic and added gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Smashed Guitar

Smashed Guitar is a purple to red duochrome with blue to purple to red ultra chrome chameleon flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Summer In Seattle Collection Part 1

This was a nice, bright collection with a variety of finishes. From holo to thermal to duochome – there are various choices in just a smaller 6 piece collection. I had no application issues with any of these shades. My tp picks are: 1962 Worlds Fair, It’s Pike Not Pikes and Smashed Guitar.

Price: $8.50 – $10.50 Each
