CrowsToes has a fun collection in store for Winter 2015! This is The Holographic Principle Collection and since CrowsToes is such a fan of Big Bang Theory, she created this collection with the episode “The Holographic Excitation” in mind (Season 6, Episode 5)

If you haven’t seen this episode, in it Penny surprises Leonard by visiting his lab. During her visit, while showing her all of the “high techie techie, and low techie techie” equipment that he works with every day, Leonard explains to Penny what is known as “the holographic principle”

The Holographic Principle

The Holographic Principle is an intense silver linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Unified Field

Unified Field is a green linear holographic with iridescent microflakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Just Another Gravitational Wave

Just Another Gravitational Wave is a gorgeous medium blue holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hey! Get Outta My 3-Brane!

Hey! Get Outta My 3-Brane! is a magenta red linear holographic. I absolutely ADORE this shade! I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Monstrous Moonshine

Monstrous Moonshine is a vibrant red leaning purple linear holographic. Another favorite for me (I’m mean, c’mon it’s purple!) I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

A Volume of Space

A Volume of Space is a black based subtle color shifter that was slightly difficult for me to capture! The shimmer within the black base shifts from a gorgeous navy blue to violet to red. It also has silver holographic and gunmetal glitters mixed in.  I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Wheeler’s Bag of Gold

Wheeler’s Bag of Gold is a gold flake polish with gold holographic glitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a thick top coat for a smooth finish.

CrowsToes Nail Color Winter 2015 The Holographic Principle Collection Overview

First off, I love the inspiration behind this collection. I really love Big Bang Theory and have fond memories of discussing the show with a boss of mine who passed away last year. He always got so giddy when the show was mentioned!

This collection is stunning and I’m loving the holos in it – but my favorites are The Holographic Principle, Hey! Get Outta My 3-Brane!, and Unified Field.
