Today is the first post in a series for Cirque Colors Metropolis Collection!  Each month Cirque Colors will be releasing two new creme shades that go with the collection, which are all dedicated to New York.  Cirque Colors is based in New York so it’s a fitting collection for them.

I have the 2 January shades to show you today!

Empire State Of Mind

Empire State of Mind is a vampy oxblood red.  Super pretty and applied with a crelly consistency.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos and Cirque Colors Liquid Laminate Top Coat.

Midnight Cowboy

Midnight Cowboy is a rich navy blue.  I used 2 coats for these photos and was pleasantly surprised I didn’t have any staining.

Overview

These are both really pretty, rich cremes with fabulous application.  I’ve used both shades as bases for flakie top coats already and they are perfect!  You’ll see those soon!  I can’t wait to see what shades February brings us!

I am really loving oxblood shades, so I think Empire State of Mind is my favorite of the 2, but both will get a lot of use from me!

These are very pretty shades, and totally my jam. $13 for a creme is a little on the spendy side for me, though.

Wow wow wooooow. I am in love with Empire State of Mind. In fact, I think I have it somewhere around my house. Ha! It's such a vampy and spectacular red. I love everything about Cirque. Definitely one of my favorite brands.
