China Glaze Sunsational Collection Swatches & Review Part One The Cremes

Today I am going to share with you the first half of the China Glaze Sunsational Collection for Summer 2013!  The first half will be the cremes!

Like with most neons, my camera freaked out taking photos.  I got them as close to accurate as possible.  All photos were taken indoor with normal house lighting.

Now on with the swatches!

Highlight of my Summer:

Highlight of my Summer is a bright mint green!   I used 3 coats for the photo and I adore this color!  I did have minor streaking issues with the first 2 coats which is why a third coat was needed.

Sun of a Peach:

My favorite based on names!  Sun of a Peach is a bright peach color.  I had the most trouble with application on this one, after 3 coats (which is pictured) I still had minor streaks.

Too Yacht To Handle:

One of my favorites in the collection!  Too Yacht To Handle is a bright turquoise.  I used 2 coats for this photo, and no application issues.

Neon & On & On:

Neon & On & On is a light neon pink creme.  I used 3 coats for this photo, and overall, no real issues to report.  The first coat was streaky, but beyond that – it smoothed out.

Bottoms Up:

Bottoms Up is a medium neon pink creme.  Another favorite of the collection!  I used 3 coats for this one as well and same as Neon & On & On, the first coat was streaky, but the other 2 went on fairly well.

That’s Shore Bright:

That’s Shore Bright is the bright purple of the collection, and I would put it more as a crelly than a creme.  Application was good, I used 3 coats, none of which were streaky, but because of the “crelly” consistency – it needed 3 to cover my VNL.

Overall, I like this half of the collection, but I don’t think it’s for everyone.  The colors are really pretty and either neon, or bright enough to almost border neon in the sunlight, but they do need patience when applying.  Most took a minimum of 3 coats.  I have been using these like crazy as glitter polish undies, and I will continue to do so because I do love the colors.

My top picks from the cremes are Bottoms Up, That’s Shore Bright and Too Yacht To Handle!
