Early last week I saw that the new Cadillacquer Exclusive Duo for Color4Nails released so I snapped it up immediately (along with the new A England collection – you’ll see that on the blog soon as well!) This exclusive shop duo consists of Be Happy and Be Brave.

Cadillacquer is a brand I’m not incredibly familiar with, but I’ve heard amazing things about them – so I figured this was a great way for me to get a little more acquainted with them.

Be Happy

Be Happy is a medium, bright blue holo with subtle silver shimmer and gold and silver micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Be Brave

Before I launch into the main info – I will say that Be Brave isn’t what I expected. The photo I saw made this appear to be a much pinker shade. I was mildly disappointed it wasn’t the pink I expected – but it’s not all bad – it’s still a beautiful shade.

Be Brave is a lilac holographic with silver shimmer and gold micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Exclusive Color4Nails Duo Overview

This is a cute duo and the colors are pretty. As I said, I was expecting Be Brave to be a pinker shade, but I’m not disappointed in the shade I received. Both applied well and are well done. The holo, shimmer and micro flakes give them a beautiful appearance and none of the elements overthrow the others. They mingle really nicely together.

Thanks for swatching! I am also a bit disappointed in the lavender. It totally looked pink on the website! Glad I didn't order it.

I was a bit surprised. I do like purple shades though, so I'm ok with the change, but I really thought I would be receiving a pink.
