I finally have some time to get the Cadillacquer Bansee Collection post up! I have been running around playing catchup since my vacation last month, then the flu swept through. On Tuesday I shipped my son off to a week long camping trip with his school, and that required a lot of packing and making trips to buy necessary supplies. I miss the little guy like crazy, but I have some time away from helping with Common Core homework to get more blogging done.

Alright, so tonight I have the Cadillacquer Banshee Collection. I have to say that every time a Cadillacquer collection lands on my desk I get insanely excited. The combinations and colors are always so unique and it’s incredible to see what Cadillacquer comes up with. This collection is no exception and I definitely have some favorites!

The Cadillacquer Banshee Collection is their Fall 2016 collection and was inspired by the show Banshee. I’ve actually never heard of this show, but I will try to check it out. Because I’m not aware of the show, I don’t get the meaning behind any of the polishes, aside from the one named after the show itself.

Cadillacquer Banshee

Banshee is a deep red toned purple base with red glitter in various sizes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Bloodlines

Bloodlines is a grayed out lavender base with a subtle linear holographic, gold shimmer and black microglitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Homecoming

Homecoming is a grayed out blue crelly base with green shimmer and light gold, purple, turquoise, and blue microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Little Fish

Little Fish is a denim blue holographic base with burgundy, red, white and pink microglitter mixed in. It’s slightly more toned down in brightness than my photos show. The lighting really brightened it. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Requiem

Cadillacquer Requiem is a red jelly base with purple and blue glitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The lighting is making the glitters look slightly curled, but it’s truly just a reflection, they lay perfectly flat on my nails.

Cadillacquer The Burden Of Beauty

The Burden Of Beauty is one of my top picks for this collection. This is a light, vibrant turquoise base that leans to an aqua color and has navy, white, silver holographic and blue glitters as well as pink shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer The Fire Trials

The Fire Trials is a light grayish blue holographic base with black and red glitters as well as red shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer The Thunder Man

The Thunder Man is a deep teal jelly scattered holo base packed with gold flakes and shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer The Truth About Unicorns

The Truth About Unicorns is a pale lavender linear holographic base with purple, red and pink glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer We Shall Live Forever

The final shade is We Shall Live Forever! This is a deep blueish grey scattered holographic crelly base packed with blue, aqua, red and purple microglitters and shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cadillacquer Banshee Collection Overview

As always, Cadillacquer didn’t fail to disappoint in the uniqueness category. I like her style and the different mix of finishes in the collection. I had no application issues, but some shades like The Fire Trials need a nice thick top coat or 2 normal top coats to completely smooth over.

I haven’t seen the show Banshee, so I can’t really say how well these shades represent it though, so if you have seen it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
