butter LONDON x Allure Arm Candy Collection Swatches, Review & Giveaway

butter LONDON and Allure teamed up to bring us Arm Candy. A 6 piece collection that is perfect for Fall 2015. This collection consists of 6 shades, but there is also a smaller 4 piece Fashion Lacquer collection (I do not have the 4 piece collection, only the 6 main shades)

Let’s dive right in.

Statement Piece

Statement Piece is a vibrant orange red creme. I reached full opacity in just 2 coats and it’s a glossy dream. I usually prefer blue toned reds, but this one is actually quite stunning on.

Nude Stilettos

Nude Stilettos is a sheer pink tinted nude jelly. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity and a glossy top coat. Very nice palette cleanser.

I did experience some patchiness with application due to the sheer formula, so I did 3 thin coats, but you can probably get away with 2 normal coats if you are careful.

It’s Vintage

It’s Vintage is actually kind of the stand out color for me in the collection. This is a rusted burnt red creme. While I don’t generally gravitate to shades like this, I found it had enough vibrancy to catch my eye. If you can only grab one shade from this collection, I would recommend this one.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I’m On The List

I’m On The List is a rose gold metallic. Application was decent, but like most metallics there are visible brush strokes. They are actually minimal in comparison to others. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Lust or Must?

Lust Or Must? is a dark chocolate brown creme. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and application was nice on this one.  I’m not big on brown polish in general, so this one didn’t do a whole lot for me, but for those digging the true browns for Fall, this ones for you!

Disco Nap

Disco Nap is a deep charcoal jelly base packed with silver glitters in various sizes. I used 2 coats and added top coat for my photos to smooth over, but this is easily worn as a nice slightly texture polish.

Overall this is a nice collection going into Fall. Formula on all 6 were nice and the only small issues are almost expected from those formulas (Nude Stilettos is a sheer and I’m On The List is metallic) otherwise though, there were no other issues.
