butter LONDON Fairy Cake Swatch and Review

I am so in love with this polish, I decided to give it a post of it’s own.

butter LONDON Fairy Cake is a STUNNING sparkler.   I wore it on its own yesterday and I got stopped 3 times in Nordstrom’s with people asking what was on my nails.    It isn’t a childish glitter looking polish… it’s like tiny crushed diamonds dazzling in the sunlight.

Do you see that holo goodness?  I used 3 coats of Fairy Cake and 2 coats of HK Girl top coat.  Fairy Cake IS a “thirsty” glitter and with just 1 coat I could still feel a bit of the grittiness associated with glitters, but with 2 coats it made it a lot better.

Fairy Cake is made of itty bitty (gritty) holo glitters suspended in a light grey base.  I probably could have just used 2 coats, but I did 3 just to be sure.  I can see this polish being used again and again for fancy affairs and holidays.
