Tonight I have the Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer June 2016 Destination Duo, and this month it’s with 6 Harts!

I had the pleasure of meeting Courtney – the lady behind 6 Harts – at CPNA last year, and I was so happy to hear she was involved this month.

This months inspiration photo was taken by Courtney at Lolo Pass in Montana.

Let’s take a look at the polishes!

6Harts Rocks of Ages

Rocks of Ages is a medium grey crelly base with green microflakes, color shifting microflakes and dark grey microflakes, and there are some microglitters mixed in for good measure. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Pining for the Pass

Pining For The Pass is a pine green jelly base packed with red to gold to green shifting microflakes, gold flakes, clear ultra holo microglitters and a heaping dash of copper shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because of the amount of flakes in this polish, I do recommend doing thicker coats. Thinner ones seemed to dry faster and made it more difficult to work with, but medium to thick coats gave enough flakes and polish combined that spreading the polish was a breeze.

You will also get a small glitter packet with a mix of various greens, golds and silver glitter in various shapes and sizes.

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer June 2016 Destination Duo Overview

Such a pretty duo – and the inspiration is nicely done. They definitely went with a more “toned down” photo in comparison to past Destination Duo inspiration pictures, but I think they pulled it off nicely and added a nice bit of flair without taking away from the inspiration.

There will be only 30 total duos sold – 15 in each shop. So if you like em, snap em up!
