Giveaway Items Gifted by Girly Bits Cosmetics
The next polish up for grabs is one I’ve been waiting for a long time to see. Not that I knew Pam would make it for my blog anniversary – but those who were around for a PPU naming vote in the Girly Bits facebook group might remember this one… so next up is my 10 Year Blog Anniversary polish from Girly Bits! The story behind the name will be with the polish description below.
Girly Bits was one of the first indie polishes I purchased, and I bought it off the Llarowe site back in 2012. I bought Sailor’s Delight and I think Denim Diva. However – they were in temporary square bottles instead of the normal fatty round bottles (like she still uses) and they had the gem glued onto the bottle above the paper label. Then I bought January Morning, Street Magic and Razzle Dazzle. So Girly Bits was among the brands to suck me into this world.
A little about the festivities:
To celebrate my 10 years of constant posts – I have asked for maker volunteers to create a custom polish for a series of giveaways! Each maker donated at least 2 bottles of a custom – one for me to swatch and keep for the milestone and one to giveaway.
While they made the custom for my blog – makers were given permission to release the custom at a later date. Not all will do this – some literally made it but didn’t save a recipe while others do intend to release it later. So I did make sure there was no exclusivity to the polish, and it’s up to the makers discretion.
Each maker had free rein to create what they wished to. I am a swatcher and not a maker for a reason and each individual maker has their own signature touch.
10 Year Blog Anniversary | Girly Bits
Ice Hole is a black (cold) to light grey (warm) jelly based thermal with scattered holo bits and pink to purple to blue to green to gold shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Now the backstory. Back around October of 2019, Pam held a poll in her Girly Bits FB group to name the upcoming December 2019 Polish Pickup shade she created. Inspiration was Ice Age (theme was Winter is Coming) and there were some good, punny names… but the second I saw ‘Ice Hole’ I was dead set on it. It lost the vote though and the polish was named ‘I Came, I Thaw, I Conquered’ instead.
For the last 2 years since Ice Hole lost the vote, I have suggested it as a polish name randomly, or asked where Ice Hole was since she said she would eventually use the name. I couldn’t be happier that she finally did use the name… and it’s for my blogaversary.
I will have a new giveaway up each day . Because of my schedule – I will draw winners for all giveaways ending that previous week on Sunday nights. I have each item in my possession so I will contact each winner for shipping information and then ship within 5 business days of receiving the shipping information.
To check out other active giveaways for this celebration – head here: https://www.cosmeticsanctuary.com/category/giveaway/current-giveaways/
I will only display the winners name on the widget AFTER the winner has responded to my email notifying they have won. I will be emailing from Lisa@CosmeticSanctuary.com – so please make sure the email is not in spam. If I have not received a response in 10 business days, I will draw a new winner and previous winner will forfeit their prize.
I display the names after because I have had people try to create emails and claim to be the winner before.
I will provide tracking for each winner. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once I ship, it’s out of my hands and I do not have replacement bottles.
Giveaway is open to EVERYONE. I will ship internationally for this because I want everyone who has followed along with me over the last 10 years to have a chance. Again though, if the package is missing, lost, stolen or confiscated on the way – I am not responsible for it and I will not be replacing.
I have made entering requirements easy. There are mandatory entries and one optional. The optional is only if you want an additional entry. The mandatory one you can come back daily to do as well if you wish to for more entries.
If you have additional questions, please email me at Lisa@CosmeticSanctuary.com and I will be happy to answer.
Thank you again Pam and the name is absolutely perfect (as is the polish)
