Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color

by Lisa Heath

Walking through Walgreens today and I saw this display of Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color and couldn’t decide what colors I wanted (seriously they were all pretty!) but luckily I have a 5 year old son who was more than happy to pick for me!  He knelt down to view the whole display and started grabbing colors, inspecting them and deciding what mommy should have!

The first one he handed me was Heatwave and he said “You don’t have a color like this so here!”  Then he picked up Bite the Bullet and Through the Grapevine because “These will look good on you mommy!”  I couldn’t agree more! All of the colors were different than anything I owned and would make fabulous additions to my collection!

When I got time today I sat down to start swatching and was a bit skeptical of the Manicurve Pro Brush these have (says so on the caps!) but I am sold on these!  The brush is wide and flat with a curved end, 2 swipes along my nails with this amazing brush and my nail was covered!  I barely had to do any cleanup on these!  I was impressed!  The color glided on so smooth!  None of these colors were thick, streaky or gloppy.  The first coat went on pretty opaque but I did a second coat just to be safe – seriously though, this polish has all the properties you want for only $1.99!  They are smooth, vibrant and have amazing coverage!  I’m itching to go grab more!

Through the Grapevine is a deeper vibrant fuschia that leans more purple.  This is my favorite out of the 3 I picked up.

Heatwave is a gorgeous coral red cream!  This is a summer color must have!!

Bite the Bullet is a smokey lavender cream.  Again – just gorgeous!

I will definitely be getting more and seriously – for $1.99 they are amazing.  They have a little something for all skintones!  Wet n Wild are available at various retailers – I got mine at Walgreens and they retailed for $1.99

I was skeptical about the brushes on them, but I found them so much easier to work with! I’m definitely picking up more soon!!
