TreasuresbyTan Bubble Gum Blast and Grama Cupcake Swatches and Review

Press Sample

I have a new indie brand (to me!) on the blog today!  TreasuresByTan sent me 2 gorgeous polishes to review and I am so happy with them!

Before I review polishes from indie makers, I always take a look at their social media sites as well as shops, and one thing I immediately spotted and LOVED in TreasuresByTan’s Etsy Shop was that she loves doing CUSTOM ORDERS!  If you see a polish she carries, but the base isn’t your color, or you want a glitter to be different… you can message her and she will custom the polish for you so you are 100% happy with your polish and not just settling on something you are only 75% happy with!  Keep that in mind when looking at my swatches as well!

I’m going to jump right into this post!

Grama Cupcake:

Grama Cupcake

Grama Cupcake is a mix of different size hex glitters and circular glitters in pastel green, purple, pink, fuchsia, and turquoise in a milky white base (meant to look like frosting with sprinkles).  This polish was made for the creator’s mother and inspired by her 2 year old who always gives him cupcakes so he started calling her “Grama Cupcake”.  So adorable!  I used 2 coats of Grama Cupcake and a glossy top coat!

Bubble Gum Blast:

Bubble Gum Blast

Bubble Gum Blast is a SCENTED glitter top coat!  She has identified the scented polishes with a cute sticker on the cap which says “Scented” (I thought that was a good idea!)  Bubble Gum Blast is a mix of large pale pink square and hex glitters, small hot pink and iridescent glitters all in a clear base… and it smells like bubble gum!  I only needed 1 coat over butter LONDON Fruit Machine and the result was perfect!  Great glitter distribution and the scent wasn’t strong by any means!

Both of these beauties and more can be found on the TreasuresByTan Etsy Shop and sell for $8.50

I had absolutely no issues with application on either of these polishes and they are so perfect for Spring!  Grama Cupcake is my favorite of the two (I love milky bases!) but if milky white bases aren’t your thing, you can change that by messaging Tanya on Etsy for a custom!

Make sure you “Like” the TreasuresByTan Facebook page for upcoming releases, shop specials and more!

What do you think?  Will you be grabbing either of these?  I’d love to hear it!
